Stating that Nepal is a multi-ethnic, multi-cultural and multi-lingual country, he expressed the view that all Nepalis should work together for building a prosperous country. Stating that the state has paid special attention to the protection and promotion of all Native Languages spoken in Nepal, Lovedev Awasthi said that the National Native Language Poetry Festival is a link to that. Ambassador of Bangladesh to Nepal Masfi Binte Sams said that the International Mother Language Day was an achievement of the martyrdom of all the linguistic martyrs of Bangladesh who were martyred in the language movement for the Bengali language in 1952. He said that language is the identity of a country and an ethnic group and since language has no boundaries, it should be linked to country, culture and humanitarian relations. After the United Nations called for the day to be celebrated as International Mother Language Day in 2000, February 21 has been celebrated all over the world as International Mother Language Day. The UNESCO year was the theme of 'Boundless Languages'. Member Secretary of Nepal Pragya-Pratishthan Pvt. Jagat Prasad Upadhyaya said that Pragya-Pratishthan has been organizing Native Language Poetry Festival for the past nine years on the occasion of International Mother Language Day for the upliftment of Native Language and Native Language literature. Pragya-Pratishthan Sahitya (Native Language) Chief and Poetry Festival Coordinator Prajna Laxmi Mali said that out of 156 poems received in 53 languages ​​received at the Poetry Festival this time, the Poetry Selection Committee has selected 64 poems from those poems for recitation. Yogendra Prasad Yadav highlighted the importance of Native Language and Native Language literature. Shamin Ahmed, Representative of UNESCO Kathmandu Office read out the congratulatory message sent by UNESCO Director General Adri Ajaule. In the poetry reading session started by Vyakul Myla, the composer of the national anthem, by reciting poems in his Native Language, 64 Native Language poets from 53 different languages ​​recited their poems. Rumi Laskar Bora, an Assamese-speaking poet from Assam, India, recited a poem in Assamese as a guest poet at the festival. Jhanki Pragya Campus, Ghantaghar, Bagbazar, Putali Road and again Pragya Bhawan joined the ice ceremony. At the inauguration ceremony, all the cultural tableaus were displayed. Member Secretary Pvt.
